Pilke’s music-oriented daycare centre Veturi opened next to shopping centre Skanssi in 2020

Pilke Veturi provides high-quality child-centred early childhood education and care at a warm-spirited daycare centre with places for 55 children. At Veturi, every child is the super star of their life, just the way they are.

Our objective is to provide children with musical experiences, capacities and skills as well as experiences of learning and success. We also encourage the children to start longer-term musical hobbies. We express the musical learning orientation through our love for music, and we sing, play instruments, dance and improvise in a joyful atmosphere every day.

Versatile activities in compliance with the National Core Curriculum for Early Childhood Education and Care

Our early education activities emphasise the importance of play, participation and discovery in warm-spirited interaction with our educators. In addition to musical and expressive pedagogy, we fill young children’s days with versatile activities in the new daycare centre’s indoor and outdoor premises and on trips. All of our activities comply with the National Core Curriculum for Early Childhood Education and Care.
