Fees
After the private care support, the client fee is a maximum of 320 € / month. Sister discount for another child 50%.
We also have free 4-hour early childhood education for 5-year-olds. The City of Helsinki supports 5-year-old families with 160 euros a month.
Daisy Family

Playschool Vuosaari is a small and warm-hearted language orientated kindergartenin Helsinki
The daycare centre’s central location provides various opportunities for exploring the close surroundings. Our activities include frequent trips to, for example, parks, libraries, museums and other cultural sites.
Pilke Playschool Vuosaari is a welcoming daycare centre where children can both practice and maintain their English skills. Our English-speaking pedagogical activities adhere to the Finnish National Core Curriculum for Early Childhood Education and Care. We familiarise the children with various cultures and help them grow into open-minded global citizens.

Hi! I am Janaina Bittencourt, manager at Pilke Playschool Taikavuori, Pasila and Vuosaari. I have a bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences from Finland, with specialization in Early Childhood Education and Care. I started my career as an Early Childhood
Educator in 2011 and have been in partnership with Pilke since 2014. It has been a rewarding path, from each child’s laugh, developmental growth, desire to learn, and most importantly, watching them thrive as they blossomed by being socially and emotionally secure.
I believe Early Childhood Educators have one of the most important jobs in the world! They are the ones who guide and empower the children to have a fulfilling set of skills for life. Educators open the doors for a child to explore their emotions, social skills, curiosity through play. Hence, preparing them to become confident, empathetic, curious and critical thinkers in the future.
As one of my core values you will find “Play is serious business for the children”, meaning they will learn, have fun and develop through play. Another one of my core values is that every child is “unique and special”. Everybody learns in a different way, so providing the right environment for all learners is very important.
In our Playschools, children will learn English and develop in an diverse atmosphere, where they will learn that difference/uniqueness is a value and a strength. From where I come from, diversity is a strength, so I feel at home when I am in an international environment.
