How are art and expression reflected in the daily life of the kindergarten?
The purpose of the art and expression-orientation is to foster the children’s creativity, curiosity and experimental attitude. Play and joy enable children’s self-expression and learning to blossom. The various forms of art are implemented in the daycare centres’ everyday operation through visual, verbal and bodily expression.
Art-oriented daycare operation naturally involves also other versatile activities, such as singing, trips and handicraft, not to forget sufficient daily rest. In addition, everyday pedagogy is part of every moment of the daycare centres’ operation.
