Homelike sports-oriented daycare centre in Taasjärvi

Sports-oriented daycare centre Pilke Söderkulla is located in Taasjärvi. We started our operation in new premises in August 2017. Our spacious and bright facilities encourage energetic activities, and there is plenty of space to run and bustle about. We provide high-quality child-centred early childhood education and care for children aged 0–5 years. Based on the families’ interests, we provide the children with an opportunity for language-enriched early education in Swedish.

Diverse joy of exercise

Our goal is to help children find the joy of exercise and adopt a sporty lifestyle. The sports-orientation is implemented in the daycare centre’s everyday operation through trips, daily yard games, weekly musical movement activities and instructed exercise. We also provide the children with opportunities to try various sports, such as swimming, junior wrestling and cycling.

Our gym is equipped with a climbing wall and a range of sports equipment that can be used by the children at all times. The daycare centre is surrounded by forests and we make regular trips to the nearby woods. In the winter, we also make trips to a close by ice skating rink.
