Pilke Kuperkeikka is a small and welcoming sports-oriented private daycare centre in central Kouvola close to excellent sports facilities and outdoor environments. The daycare centre’s location enables using the close surroundings as a learning environment where we can implement education that takes account of versatile learning themes.

Our operation is based on the children’s desire to do sports, play, learn and explore. The objective of our small group activities is to create a warm, safe and unhurried atmosphere which enables considering each child’s individual needs and leaves sufficient time for play.

The daycare centre’s sports orientation is implemented through our everyday activities. We provide the children with plenty of opportunities for independent exercise, and sports equipment are easily accessible for them. We plan the exercise activities’ objectives jointly with the children and their parents every operational period, taking account of their wishes and the needs identified by observing the development of the children’s motor coordination.
